A FUGITIVE

SHE STOOD IN FRONT OF A LONG MIRROR
SHE RUBBED HER FACE WITH HER HANDS
AS SHE WAS WASHING IT
HER APPEARANCE BECAME DIFFERENT
SINCE EVERYONE HEARD HER
SHOUTING SHE BECAME
A FUGITIVE
SHE KNEW WHERE TO GO
WHERE TO FIND HIM
WHEN SHE SAW HIM
HE WAS WANDERING IN
A GRAVEYARD
IT WAS VERY DARK
NO LIGHT WAS THERE
EXCEPT THE MOONLIGHT
SHE CAME VERY CLOSE TO HIM
AND SAID
I AM LOOKING FOR YOU
YOU WERE GOING TO TEACH
ME HOW TO PLAY
